Gondar and Bahir Dar Universities Appointed New Board of Directors
Gondar University and Bahir Dar University in Amhara Region have been appointed new board of directors two days apart.
The Speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives, Tagesse Chafo, has been appointed chairman of the board, according to Gondar University.
Prof. Tetel Yohannes as the Vice-Chairman; Athletes Col. Derartu Tulu, Zewdu Melede, Prof. Bruk Lambiso, Dr. Seid Mohammed and Genene Rugga are members of the Board of Directors of Gondar University.
Bahir Dar University, on the other hand, on April 3, 2014. According to the Center for Democracy Building, Adam Farah, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Yakub Arsano (Dr.) are the Chairpersons. In addition, Aman Feshatsion, Bedulu Waqjira, Esther Zewde, Teferi Mekonnen and Deres Sahlu have been nominated as board members.
