Debretsion G. Michael writes again to UN Secretary General:
Dr. Debre Tsion Gebremichael, who is the leader of the governing body of Tigray State, has written an open letter to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
In a 4-page letter to the organization, they described the situation in Ethiopia as “deteriorating in all sectors.” He said the humanitarian situation in Tigray could not be a precondition, adding that his government had agreed to bring peace for the sake of peace, but the promise had not been fulfilled.
“If there is no alternative to peace, we will have to go back to our other options to break the siege of Tigray,” Debre Tsio concluded.
